Colonel Edward Hawkins Cheney at Waterloo. According to the guide book, this is the only equestrian statue in an English Church. The horse's teeth have been stained by the apple placed in its mouth every Harvest Festival. The statue was moved from Gaddesby Hall, to the Church, on tree-trunk rollers when the estate was sold in 1917. (Photo Jul 2007).
