C19 ashlar reredos with alabaster figures, in C14 style, and stained glass window, 1892, by Heaton, Butler & Bayne. - The Crucifixion - The outer panels feature the risen Christ (his hands bear the Stigmata). The centre (3rd) panel, the Crucifixion. A panels feature the Shroud in some context. The fourth panel is the Empty Tomb discovered. (Photo Jul 2007).
