House, now also partly a shop. C18 or earlier, altered and
extended in mid C19. Timber frame roughcast over a stucco
plinth. S side cased in red brick, E end and NE narrow wing of
red brick. Stuccoed brick C19 shopfront. Steep old red tile
roofs. Shopfront projection slated. A small T-shaped house
facing S but with shopfront facing road on W. One and a half
storeys short N range facing road has a gabled 2-light casement
dormer at the eaves over the shopfront projection with half-
glazed door and large sash windows flanked by pilasters and
trusses. 2-storeys crosswing has its gable to the road with C19
bargeboard, flush 2-light casement upper window and flush box
sash lower window with 6/6 panes. Red brick central chimney in
crosswing, with wallhead chimney on S side to rear addition. S
wall has deep window recesses with 2 wooden casement windows to
each floor. A picturesque irregular small house.
