House. C17 or earlier, SW and N extensions C19/C20. Timber frame on
stuccoed brick plinth, roughcast with steep old red tile roofs. An
L-shaped house set back from road facing E. 1 1/2-storeys hall range with
rearwall chimney of one diagonal shaft, lower N extension next N
external gable chimney. Tall, 2-storeys, S crosswing projecting far to
front with very large internal chimney of moulded base below 3 square
diagonally set shafts in a row across the roofridge. Narrower, 2-storeys
SW extension. Hall range has 2 windows and 2 corresponding gabled
dormers at the eaves. 3-light leaded casement windows, 2-lights dormers.
Plank door in gabled roughcast centred porch. A 3-lights window to each
floor of front gable of crosswing.
