Ledger slab To the Memory of Mary Conquest sole Wife of Benedict Conquest of Irnham in the County of Lincoln and of Haughton Conquest in the County of Bedford Esquire and daughter of Thomas Markham of Ollerton in the County of Nottingham and of Claxby in the County of Lincoln Esquire who departed this Life 2 Feb 1745 aged 38 Requiescat in Pace. Who shall find a valiant woman. The price of her is as things brought from the uttermost coast. (Proverbs 31). In this Chapell are also deposited the remains of Benedict Conquest aged 2 months and 8 days buried 11 Sept 1739 and Mary Conquest aged 4 months 2 weeks 6 days and buried 10 Jan 1736 Son and Daughter of Benedict Conquest Esq. and Mary his Wife.
