Quarterly 1 Gules three lions passanr or (England) inpaling Or a lion rapant within a tressure flory counterflory gules (Scotland) 2 Azure three fleurs de lis or (France) 3 Azure a harp or stringed argent (Ireland) 4 Quarterly 1 Gules two lions passant or (Brunswick), 2 Scotland again, a mistake for Or semee of hearts a lion rampant azure (Luneburg) Inescutcheon The Electors Bonnet, all for Hanover. The same hand has repainted The Arms of George II at St John the Evangelist in nearby Corby Glen, making the same mistake with the paints that had run into each other over time. (Photo Apr 2014).
