5/27 Guide-post about 50 metres west of
- Lower Treleggan

Guide-post. Circa early C20. Cast-iron, painted white with black lettering and
rims. The guide-post has a round section shaft with a moulded spike finial and 4
arms fixed to the shaft by collars. The arms have black-painted rims and lettering
raised in relief in upper case without serifs giving directions and distances to:
Wendron, Constantine, Mawnan Smith, Gweek, Helston, The Lizard, Falmouth, Redruth and
Truro.
The guide-post is situated on the top of a field bank and much of the shaft, with its
maker's name, is buried.
