2/219 Raise Lodge and
adjoining barn


Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Early C19. Incised stucco with eaves cornice,
parapet and V-jointed quoins. Graduated greenslate roof with yellow brick
chimney stacks. Barn of dressed red sandstone. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower
L-shaped barn to left. Panelled door under patterned fanlight in pilastered
surround with plain frieze and cornice. Flanking tripartite windows with sash
windows above, all in painted stone surrounds. Barn has slit vents.
