Late C15/early C16, altered in C18/C19. Coursed rubble; alternating Pennant sandstone
and limestone. Double Roman tiled roof. Two storeys with low, coped gable. One
window, 2-light casements with slightly chamfered stone mullion. Evidence of former
coach entry above ground floor window. Six panel door; flat hood on stone brackets.

Interior: Arch braced collar roof with windbracing, continues along whole length of
roof visible in first floor room nearest street.

Two good heavily moulded ashlar fireplaces on ground (lintel removed) and first floor
(a depressed arch lintel).

First floor also has segmental headed doorcase in position of dividing screen.

Part of an important group of gabled houses: with Nos 24 and 26.
