West Lane House

GV II

House. C18. Coursed rubblestone, old tile roof. 4 bays and 2
storeys with dormers. Wing at right of 2 bays and 2 storeys. Slate
roofed single storey west range along West Lane. 6 panelled door
in doorcase of fluted pilasters and entablature with projecting
cornice forming hood in 2nd bay from right. Recessed box sashes
with stone arches and keystones. Stone band course between storeys.
Timber eaves and 2 hipped dormers. Stone coped gables on kneelers.
Flanking brick stacks. Wing to right rubblestone with one ground
floor left hand casement, one 3-light first floor casement. Range to
West Lane has 2 casements and garage doors. Staircase wing at rear
has staircase with turned balusters, C18.
