House, roofless. Probably C18, possibly older. Granite moorstone rubble. Probably
originally with thatched roof.
Rectangular plan, probably originally single storey and 2 small rooms. Later
fireplace fitted to left-hand (south) end. Doorway with granite monolithic jambs
leads (left of middle) into left-hand part. 2 small window openings in rear wall.
This house, and the nearby house, qv, are similar to the black houses of Scotland and
represent a building type almost unknown in Cornwall.
