Row of 4 cottages. Probably early C19. Stone rubble, the three cottages on the
right rendered and painted. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble axial and
end stacks.
Plan: Row of 4 one-and two-room plan cottages heated by shared axial stacks and by
end stacks. The cottage to right, which was probably of one-room plan has a further
one-room plan extension to right. C20 extensions to rear.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical 7-window front with C19 and C20 windows and C20
doors. The left hand cottage has granite lintels above the ground floor openings,
which are extended to form a continuous string band.
The three cottages to left have entrances slightly off centre, flanked by two windows
with two windows directly above. The right hand cottage has an entrance on left with
window to right and directly above. There is a second entrance in the right hand
gable end.
