GV II
Bridge over the River Inney. Rebuilt 1847 after a flood. Slatestone rubble with
granite dressings. The bridge is of six spans, with granite lintels. On the
upstream side there are triangular cutwaters with granite tops. On the downstream
side there are no cutwaters. The parapet walls are in rubble with rounded granite
coping, about 70 centimetres high, diminishing in height to south and splayed back at
each side to north. At each end, to each side, there is drain hole for flood
water. The bridge is about 17 metres long and about 3 metres wide.
