Cottage. Probably C18; modernised, rearranged and extended circa 1960. Plastered
cob on stone rubble footings; stone rubble or brick stack topped with C20 brick;
thatch roof; circa 1960 weatherboarded rear block with corrugated iron roof.
2-room plan main block facing south-west, rearranged internally circa 1960. At same
time rear block built at right angles behind right (south-eastern) end. Main block
has left end stack and is 2 storeys.
Regular, nearly symmetrical, 3-window front of C19 and C20 casements with glazing
bars. The central ground floor window is probably blocking the former front door.
Roof is gable-ended to left and hipped to right. Circa 1960 the doorway was moved
to the right end wall where contemporary porch has slate monopitch roof.
Interior shows mostly the result of the circa 1960 modernisation. The fireplace has
been rebuilt and the beams have been either boxed in or removed. Roof not
inspected.
