Dovecot Cottage

GV II


Dovecot, now cottage. C18. Timber framed, plaster rendered and tiled,
hipped roof with flight holes in gablets now plaster rendered. C19 gault
brick stack. Two storeys and attic. C19 flush frame horizontal sliding
sashes. Doorway originally in north side. There are single storey, lean-to
extensions at ground floor. Inside: C19 staircase. In the attic the trap
door from the landing stage to the dovecote is still intact.
