Nonconformist chapel, 1856, extended 1904. Gault brick with
slate roof and end parapets on kneelers. Rectangular plan with
gable end to road. Pedimented principal elevation of three
round headed bays framed by paired giant pilasters and in two
heights. The pediment has a border of cut brickwork and round
headed graduated arches to recesses, two glazed. The front
stage has one round headed window to each bay, and the ground
stage three doorways in similar double recessed arches, the
centre doorway being larger. The side elevations are in five
similar round headed bays, each with fenestration with fixed
light and small panes with original cast iron glazing bars and
central pivot lights. Interior: The original fittings are
intact. Galleried on three sides and cast iron work to steps to
pulpit.
