House, now residential home for the elderly. Late C18, altered
C20. Painted brickwork. Slated hipped roof, concealed roof to
left bay and right extension, brick stack to left and right of
hipped roof and to rear of left bay.
2 storeys, 4 bays. Stone paved verandah across ground floor
with delicate arched wood trellis supported by 4 fluted timber
columns each flanked by patterned trellis uprights, tented
roof. On right below third bay is a recessed 4-panelled door,
2 upper panels glazed each with pointed head, panelled
reveals. To left and to right is a rectangular bay with
tripartite front with centre 8-pane sash and 4-pane flanking
and side sashes, all with narrow glazing bars. On left and to
right extension is a round-headed Gothic pointed loop headed
sash. First floor has four 12-pane sashes with attached
shutters each set under painted flat gauged brick arch. Coped
parapet. To left is a C20 1-storey extension and to rear C20
2-storey extension.
