SX 86 NE ABBOTSKERSWELL ABBOTSKWERSWELL
3/8 Lych gate approximately 5 metres
- to south-west of Church of St Mary
GV II
Lych gate. 1603 extensively restored in 1899. Rendered rubble walls with hipped
slate roof. Above the gates is an ovolo moulded timber possibly re-used with the
inscription "FEARE GOD TR 1603 SR HONOR Y KINGSY". There are stepped stone seats
against the left-hand wall.
