of No.24 Mulberry House

GV II

Garden house. 1812. Cut flint with gault brick dressings and
corner piers. Brick plinth. One storey over cellar. No roof
cladding. Square plan with canted corners. North and south
faces each with one 2-light Y-tracery window. C20 plank door
to west side within reeded doorcase with trumpet capitals.
Overlight under depressed arch, the keystone of which carries
date: 1812. Crenellated parapet. Stack to east face.
INTERIOR: door and windows with reeded jambs. Fireplace with
reeded jambs and frieze containing early C19 cast-iron hob
grate. Shallow domed plaster ceiling with rolled ribs over
continuous plaster cornice of running floral bead. Central
floral boss.
