House. Early C19. White brick; mansard roof, slated to front
slope, plaintiled to rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, cellar and attics. 2 window range: sashes
with glazing bars, in plain reveals with flat gauged arches. A
6-panel door, set back in a doubled arched brick recess, has a
fanlight with ornamental glazing. A foot-scraper to the left
of the door in a stone surround. Segmental-arched window
surrounds to the rear wall; renewed windows. One flat-headed
dormer.
INTERIOR: cellar, lined in flint, brick and stone, is older
than the building above. Some original joists survive, set
flat. No features prior to the early C19 above ground: stair
with stick balusters and round newels; renewed fireplaces.
