House, now 3 dwellings, probably late C18 altered later C19 for
Rowland Egerton Warburton. English garden wall bond brown brickwork
with a 1-storey 1-room wing left of brick-nogged oak framing,
probably mid C17, with clay tile roof. The main block is 2 storeys
plus attic, with 3 windows; recessed 2-storey 1-room mid C20 extension
right. Replaced oak-boarded door in porch has 2 windows to right of
three 2-pane lights; window left of door of 5 lights and in left wing
of 3 lights, all wood-mullioned and in main block under cambered brick
arches. 2 oak-framed gabled dormers of Arley estate type. Flush
brick chimney on left gable; square chimney on ridge between central
and right room has 4 separated chamfered flues.
Interior of left dwelling is altered, but has some oak beams;
interiors of central and right dwellings could not be inspected.
