Farmhouse late C17 or early C18 with later alterations and extension to left.
Roughcast render over rubble; graduated greenslate roof with stone ridge. 2 end
chimneys on main house, one chimney on extension. 2 storeys plus attics lit
from gable. 4 windows: C19 casements. Extension has earlier small-paned
casements. Off-centre roughcast stone gabled porch with C19 panelled door.
Interior has chamfered beams; spice cupboard with initials and date RD AD 1722;
panelled screen to hall with initials and date D T A 1701
similar panelling on landing; earlier wainscoting at top of stairs; oak
staircase from 1st floor to attics. 4-bay roof with upper crucks, ridge piece,
slightly arched collars and 2 levels of purlins. Attic has old oak floorboards
throughout.
