House, now 2 houses. C17, brick cased and altered in C18. Timber frame
cased in red brick in stages. Chequer pattern of black headers to W part
of front. Steep thatched roof half hipped at E, with old red tiled
dormers and rear wing at NE. An irregular picturesque l½ storeys
building facing S. Thatch runs down over projecting part at W end of
front with eyebrow dormer at eaves. 2 gabled dormers at eaves set in
small areas of tiling. Large internal chimney a third from E end. 4
windows long with 2-light flush casements. Timber frame exposed with 2
small windows in W gable. Large external C19 brick chimney at E end and
small 2-storeys timber framed rear wing. Internal gable chimney at W.
