GV II

Cornmill. Early C18, extended mid-C19. Coursed rubble with a slate roof,
extended in brick and softwood frame. Aligned east/west with C19 lean-to
on west side. South front of three storeys, the first floor with a small
window to right, ground floor has two similar windows. Entrance to left
has a wooden architrave and a stable door. C19 lean-to against left-hand
gable end has a loft door over a double door. Mill race to right-hand gable,
only the shaft of the water wheel surviving. Interior retains main shafts
but gearing lost. Two pairs of stones on first floor formerly overdriven.
