Nonconformist Chapel, built by the Wesleyans in 1844, later acquired by the
Congregationalists. Brick, with slate roof. Simple Classical facade in red
brick, with paired Doric pilasters in white brick at the corners, and the
shallow triangle of the gable outlined in bands of white brick. 3 window
range: small-paned sashes in cased frames with shallow reveals, wedge lintels
and plain projecting sills. Steps up to a Greek Doric portico; panelled
entrance doors with 2 leaves.
