House. c1820. Brick with ashlar dressings; hipped slate roof
with 3 brick return lateral stacks. L-plan. Georgian style. 3
storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Top eaves soffit with
slender paired brackets. Entrance has doorcase with lion masks
to angles, Doric porch with triglyph frieze and guttae. Later
C19 canted bay windows with top cornices and rubbed brick flat
arches over plate glass sashes; windows to upper floors have
sills, and rubbed brick flat arches over 16-pane sashes, and
4/8-pane sashes to 2nd floor. Left return has much-altered
range of farm buildings. Rear has large C20 wing.
