Farmhouse. Mid-late C18; C19 alterations and additions. Coursed
rubble sandstone, stone slate roof. 3-storey main range with three
1st-floor windows; C19 single-storey, single-window addition to right,
set back; 2-storey wing to rear right of main range. Added central
stone porch with panelled door. Flanking 3-light windows have projecting
sills, metal casements with horizontal glazing bars and lintels tooled
as voussoirs. 1st-floor windows similar: central window of two lights,
wood casements, flat arches. Three 2nd-floor windows set beneath eaves;
all of 2-lights, central window narrower. Shaped kneelers, ashlar gable
copings. Renewed brick end stacks. C19 addition to right : door with
4-pane overlight to left of sash with glazing bars.

Interior : pilastered and corniced niche in ground-floor room to left.
Contemporary staircase. Collared principal rafter trusses.
