Cottage. Probably early C19 incorporating parts of an earlier building; minor
later additions and alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble; stone slate roof. 2
storeys. C20 casements directly below eaves to left and right; C19 casements
with wood lintels to ground floor, one to left and 2 to right of boarded door to
left of centre. Integral end stacks with red brick shafts. Outline of earlier
roof pitch visible to left gable end. Rubblestone lean-to to rear. Interior. Not
inspected at tine of resurvey (May 1987) but noted as having chamfered cross
beam to left ground-floor room and chamfered spine beam to right. Included for
group value.
