Classical slate with finely cut details including semi-circular panel with female figure and sheep by a tomb. -Reader thou too must join the dead-.To Mary Sumner Relict of the late John Sumner d. Jun 11th 1814 aet 67. -Stay mortal and depart not from this stone / But stand and ponder well where I have gone / Death quickly took my sense and strength away / I now am laid in this dark bed of clay / Reader consider and take home this line / The grave that next is made it may be thine-.
