House, now offices, with area railings. c1800. Possibly by
John Cordingley. Red brick, slate roof, wrought-iron railings.
3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Entrance right with
fielded-panel door, fanlight, surround with fluted pilasters
and pediment. Sash windows with plate glass and C20 frames,
stone sills, flat brick arches painted. End stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Railings have moulded bud finials.
Part of the development of the Wilson estate for merchants'
houses with warehouses and workshops behind as the medieval
centre of the town became more congested.
