Row of 8 cottages. Early C19. Brown brick with possibly
earlier flush plinth of coursed red sandstone rubble; grey
slate roof.
2 storeys, each cottage of one bay. Replaced boarded doors in
openings with cambered brick heads; stone steps to doors, a
few repairs in concrete, with iron rails, most renewed. Each
cottage has one 12-pane casement in a square opening, those to
ground floor with cambered brick heads. Brick ridge chimneys;
flush eaves and gables.
At the rear the lower storey of each cottage has been extended
backward under a lean-to slate roof, late C20; an 8-pane
casement to second storey of each cottage.
