2 cottages. c1800 heavily restored externally and altered
internally. English garden wall bond brown brick; grey slate
roof has ridge parallel with street.
2 storeys: No.1 is double fronted, No.3 of one bay. Windows
are renewed. Rendered plinth. From east to west the lower
storey has a horned tripartite sash of 3;9;3 panes under a
cambered brick head, door to No.1 of 6 fielded panels in a
small recessed porch with panelled case and remade simple
pediment, two 12-pane sashes, replaced door of 6 fielded
panels to No.3 and a 12-pane sash. A plain 3-course band at
upper floor level; three 8-pane sashes to the upper storey;
the lower windows have painted stone sills, the upper windows
tile sills; exposed rafters at eaves; flush verges.
INTERIOR: No.1 retains no features of interest; No.3 could not
be inspected.
