Pair of houses, early C19. Brick in Flemish bond with painted
stucco treated as banded rustication to ground-floor of No.12.
3 storeys over basement. 2 windows each, with recessed outer
ranges to the pair. Segmental-arched windows to ground floor;
the entrance to left-hand unit flat-arched in aedicule in 1st
window range; entrance to right-hand unit on return. The other
openings flat-arched. Sill band to 1st-floor windows which are
set in basket-arched recesses, gauged brick lintels to
2nd-floor windows; entablature band of brick. Upper-floor
windows with 6x6 sashes of an original design.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms a group with No.10 and the Victuallers' Almshouses,
Asylum Road (qv).
