Terrace of 5 houses, now with shops and offices. Mid C18. Red
brick with later stuccoed fronts, parapets.
Nos 68-70: 3 storeys, 5 bays with 4 right bays advanced, left
bay having archway through to rear at ground level. Advanced
section (with rounded bay at left) has 2 doors and 2 windows
with remains of shop fronts at ground floor. One window blank
on 1st and 2nd floors. Assorted revealed sash windows with
glazing bars and stucco sills.
Nos 72-76: 3 storeys, No.76 with attic dormer in pitched tiled
roof; 2 bays each. Ground floor timber shop fronts altered
C20. Revealed sash windows with glazing bars and stucco sills
to 1st and 2nd floors, those to No.74 4-pane, others 12-pane.
INTERIOR: not inspected, little of interest said to remain
inside.
At time of survey Nos 74 & 76 with offices to ground floor.
Nos 68-72 listed 27.09.72.
