GV II

House. Early C19, altered in the mid C19. Stock brick with
stucco dressings.
PLAN: rectangular.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys over basement. Main elevation, east, to
Churchyard Passage, has 6-window range; openings are
flat-arched, those in 3rd and 5th ranges are blocked. Windows
set in basket-arched shallow recesses to ground floor. Large
brick porch to east with stuccoed cornice; 6-panel door with
delicate fanlight.
Marking the division between 1st and 2nd floors, or attic, is
dentil cornice, which returns to north face along Camberwell
Church Street. 2-window range to this north elevation, one to
2nd floor blocked. South elevation has one 2x2 sash on the top
floor and a large C20 bay window of 2-storey height.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms a good group with the Church of St Giles Camberwell to
the east (qv).
