Pair of houses, now one dwelling. Probably late C17 or early C18; altered. Whitewashed brick, thatched roof. Long single-depth plan (probably formerly 2 plus 2 units).

EXTERIOR: one storey; 6-window range. Restored 3-light sliding sashes except that at the left end which is a fixed 4-pane window; doorway between the fifth and sixth windows, with board door and side windows. Single-flue gable chimneys.
INTERIOR: not inspected.

Forms group with Nos 2, 4 & 6 (qv) and No.10 (qv).
