Farmhouse with stable, now 2 houses. Probably early C18;
altered. Whitewashed brick, thatched roof. Single-depth,
3-unit plan (1 plus 2), plus old lean-to addition to left end
of No.11, and C20 extensions to rear.
EXTERIOR: one storey (plus attic to No.13); 5-window range.
The doorways are at the left and right-hand ends, both with
wooden lintels and board doors. No.11 has an enlarged or
inserted square 3-light casement to the right of the door and
a similar window in the lean-to to the left (which is canted
back).
No.13 has 2 small 3-light sliding sash windows to the left of
the door and a smaller 2-light fixed window further to the
left, all these segmental-headed and small-paned. Eyebrow
dormer just left of the doorway with a similar 2-light sliding
sash. One-flue ridge chimney between houses, 2-flue gable
chimney to No.13.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms group with No.9 (qv) next door but one to the left and
Nos 17-23 (qv) to the right, and with No.12 (qv) and Nos 14-18
(qv) opposite.
