GV II

Ha-ha. Probably C18; extended (or restored) at both ends in 1960s. Dressed sandstone blocks. Approx. 100m long, on north-north-east/south-south-west axis. The original portion is mostly one course of very large dressed blocks with a rounded coping; the portions to east and west are of coursed sandstone blocks with ridged coping. At each end is a C20 gazebo in early C18 style. Forms group with Meols Hall (qv).
