Pair of gate piers with attached boundary wall to farm
courtyard. C18; altered. Piers of sandstone ashlar in large
dressed blocks, wall of red brick with concrete coping.
Gate piers in Classical style: square, approx. 2m high, with
moulded plinth and cornice, swept tops with moulded square
caps (probably formerly surmounted by ball finials). Attached
walls approx. 1m high, now with concrete slab coping; east
return linked to barn on east side of courtyard (qv).
Forms group with Barn on west side (qv), Cart shed on south
side (qv) and Meols Hall to east (qv).
