Semi-detached houses. c1830. Stucco, roof of tiles.
3 storeys over basement, 2-window range with one window blank.
Giant Doric pilasters flanking outer entrance bay and between
the houses. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with overlight
under pediment; bay to ground and first floors, segmental to
No.7 and canted to No.8 with first-floor verandah with
cast-iron railings and convex canopy, that to No.8 retaining a
fringe of anthemion ornaments; cornice carried round bays;
attic storey divided by pilasters; sashes of original design
to basements, and attic of No.8; boxed eaves; hipped roof;
stack to party wall. No.8 has an additional side entrance at
basement level, flat-arched with pilasters and wreathed
entablature and stepped parapet.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Cast-iron railings to steps; stucco
dwarf garden walls with square corniced gate piers.
