Terraced houses. Nos 1-3 C18, No.4 dated 1881 on a plaque
between first-floor windows. Cobbles with dressings of yellow
brick to Nos 1-3 and of red brick to No.4, render, roof of
tiles. Quoins of red brick.
Entrances to No.1 in late C20 rear extension; to Nos 2 and 3
paired under a segmental arch of yellow brick, to No.4 at
north end of Nos 1-3, segmental arch in red brick recently
rebuilt. Base of Nos 1-3 rendered to Falmer Road;
segmental-arched windows to ground floor, with dressings of
yellow brick to Nos 1-3 and red brick to No.4, except that the
head of No.1 has been recently rebuilt in red brick;
first-floor windows flat-arched; No.4 has a red brick sill
band to first floor and a plaque inscribed 'S&GHB 1881'; the
northernmost ground-floor window on Nos 1-3 and all except the
northernmost first-floor window on No.4 have horizontal
sliding sashes; central ridge stack to No.4; rendered returns.
