Terrace houses, now shops, restaurants and flats. c1840. Brick
in Flemish bond to No.18 and stucco to No.19.
3 storeys over basement. Roof obscured by blocking course. 2
windows each. Straight front walls along line of street to
No.19; the front wall of No.18 angles back to party wall with
Nos 16 and 17. Ground floor with C20 shops. All windows flat
arched with projecting sills. Storey band between first and
second floors. In the first-window range of No.18 marked
settlement; this unit has a brick entablature with a brick
dentil cornice. No.19 has an entablature with pilaster strips
to party walls. Both have sashes of a 2 x 2 mid C19 design.
Stacks to party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Nos 18 and 19 form a group with Nos 2-8 and 20-21B Prince
Albert Street (qv).
