A pair of terraced houses. c1825. Probably by Amon Wilds and
Charles Augustine Busby. Stucco, roof of tiles so far as
visible.
3 storeys over basement, 2-window range. Ground floor
decorated with banded rustication. Round-arched entrance with
fanlight set back under plain round-arched porch in recessed
outer bay; the principal front of both houses flanked by giant
Ionic pilasters; all windows flat-arched; storey band between
ground and first floor; first-floor windows set back under a
round arch with springing band and having bracketed balconies
with cast-iron railings; sill band to second floor windows
which have sashes of original design; boxed eaves; hipped
roof; stacks to party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Cast-iron area railings and gates of
complex mid- or late C19 design.
