Terraced house. c1815. Stucco. 2-span roof, the covering
obscured.
3 storeys over half basement. One-window range. Ground floor
has banded rustication and a segmental bay with flat-arched,
tripartite windows in the centre of the elevation; sashes of
original design. The roof of the bay serves as a balcony for
the first floor, and is enclosed by cast-iron railings. The
French door onto the balcony is flat arched, and set within a
shallow, round-arched recess. At the party and end walls are
slender Tuscan pilasters supporting a plain entablature with
blocking course above. Entry on right return facade is round
arched and set under a porch consisting of thin Tuscan
colonnettes and plain entablature. This listing does not
include the single-storey, late C19 carriage house off the
entrance courtyard.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
No.15, Nos 17-18 and Nos 20-26 (qv) form a group.
