House, now offices. c1826, with later alterations.
Reddish-brown brick with stucco facade and Welsh slate roof
with cast-iron railings and balcony.
3 storeys with basement to left, 3 first-floor windows. First
floor has 10-pane casements in plain reveals. Second floor has
3/6 sashes in plain reveals, with sills. Frieze, cornice, low
parapet, copings. Ground floor: central entrance, 3 steps to
6-panel door with side-lights and reed-and-ball pilasters
between, modillion cornice, cambered overlight with decorative
glazing within distyle Tuscan porch with frieze and cornice.
6/6 sash to left and tripartite window to right a 6/6 between
2/2 sashes in plain reveals and with sills. End stacks. First
floor has individual double-heart-and-anthemion motif
balustrades to each window.
INTERIOR: openwell staircase to full height has stick
balusters and wreathed handrail; 6-panel doors; modillion
cornice to hall; egg-and-dart cornices; some fireplaces.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Warwick Street was laid out in 1822-1826.
