House. c1840 with later additions and alterations, including
range to rear. Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco front
facade, Welsh slate roof and cast-iron railings.
2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. First floor: continuous sill
band, 6/6 sashes in plain reveals. Stepped frieze, cornice,
low parapet, copings. Ground floor: central entrance a 4-panel
door with overlight in porch with Tuscan pillars and engaged
pilasters, frieze, pediment. To left, canted bay of three 1/1
sashes, frieze, cornice, parapet. To right a tall 6/6 sash
with moulded surround. Hipped roof, tall end stacks with
cornices.
INTERIOR: dog-leg staircase with stick balusters, modillion
cornice to hall.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: lancet area railings.
