Semi-detached houses. c1830. Possibly by Amon Wilds and
Charles Augustine Busby. Stucco, roofs of slate and tile.
2 storeys over basement, 3-and-a-half-window range, each house
sharing a blank central window; recessed entrance bay. Ground
floor decorated with banded rustication. Steps up to
flat-arched porch with Ionic columns to Nos 91-92 and 96,
engaged Doric antae to the rest, entablatures, those to Nos 92
and 93 wreathed; flat-arched entrance with overlight, and
panelled door of original design to No.92. All windows
flat-arched; bracketed balcony to ground floor with cast-iron
railings with anthemion ornament; storey band; bracketed
eaves, hipped roof with central stack.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Low garden walls of brick and cobble except to No.92 which is
stuccoed. There are not many semi-detached houses of this date
in Brighton.
