House and shop. Early C19, heavily restored in 1992.
Mathematical tiles. 2-span roof of slate.
3 storeys over basement. 2-window range. All openings flat
arched. First-floor windows originally floor-to-ceiling,
shortened in the course of restoration, when cast-iron
railings of an early C19 design fixed in front of spandrels.
Sashes rebuilt according to a late C18 or early C19 design.
Rear elevation originally covered in mathematical tile,
painted; in the course of restoration, tiles removed from
rear, where they faced onto a court, to front. Before the
recent works, the rear elevation had several windows with
sashes of original design, a canted bay to the first floor,
and several dormers.
