Moreton Morrell Tennis Court

Entrance gates and railings to real tennis court. c1906.
Possibly by WH Romaine-Walker. Wrought-iron. Paired gates have
enriched panels and flat open-work gate piers with heart
motifs and scrolly finials, one finial gone; short lengths of
railings extending approx 8m have plain ends, one next to each
gate pier with urn, and decorative treatment to bottom; end
piers with naturalistic finials.
The gates and railings have similar details to those of
Moreton Hall (qv).
