Farmhouse. C17 with early C19 additions. Timber-frame with
brick infill on stone plinth, and brick addition; gabled tile
roofs with brick end stacks and lateral stacks. Gable facing,
front to left, with L-plan, C19, range to rear.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic; 2-window range. Gabled bay
to left and central lean-to outshut with small stack to angle.
Entrance in lean-to porch to right end has plank door in
moulded frame. Windows have 2-light small-paned glazing with
iron opening casements, one in gabled dormer to right of
gable. Some exposed timber framing visible.
Left return has large projecting lateral stack behind C20
lean-to outshut. Right return has lean-to outshut; exposed
truss above with halved and crossed principals, collar and
struts; 3-light small-paned casement to ground floor and small
light to first floor; entrance to return has plank door.
2-storey C19 rear wing has top modillioned brick cornice.
Front facing road has lower narrow connecting block to left
end with early C20 projection under lean-to roof extending
right as porch; segmental-headed window to right has 3-light
transomed and leaded casement; 2 windows to first floor have
2-light small-paned casements.
Rear has wing with lateral stack and window to each floor with
ashlar sill, and brick flat arch over 2-light small-paned
casement; C20 single-storey re-entrant block to left.
